I haven’t listened to the “obvious choice” in decades, but I still think Fear of a Black Planet was just an awesome album.
Love both ‘Fear’ and ‘Nations’ but Fear of a Black planet doesn’t drop a single beat or rhyme. I think this was probably one of the first non-rock records I ever bought.
I have a handfull of singles on my IPod, but have no idea what album(s) they go to.
