Bizzare Album Combinations

I’ve come to the less then stellar conclusion that I’ve got the most random collection of CDs and tapes out of all my friends:

Selected sample:

  • Disturbed (their first one)
  • Simon and Garfunkel - Greatest Hits
  • Chicago
  • Steps (their first one)
  • System of a Down - Toxcity
  • REM - Automatic for the People, Monster and Out of TIme
  • UB40 - Colour of Love
  • Daruade - Sandstorm
  • Live - Throwing Copper (ok, so everyone has this one)
  • Michelle Branch (her 1st album)
  • Dire Straights - Money for Nothing and Communique
  • Bomb-Funk MCs - Freestyler
  • Portishead - Dummy
  • Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness and 1979
  • The Living End (a Aussie ska/punk band, their 1st album)
  • Counting Crow - Recovering the Satellites
  • A few dance/trance/ 80’s techno records
  • I might even have Vengaboys and [shudder] SpiceGirls lurking in the back of the box.

So I’ve got a collection which has something that’s guaranteed to offend someone except for me. The weird thing is that I still listen to them on a regular basis; it’s not like they are bad purchases (at least in my eyes).

I can’t be the only one, can I?
