This is it. This is the album that started it all for the funky little dynamo from Minneapolis by the name of Prince Rogers Nelson (that’s Prince to you and me). With a little encouragement from some fellow enthusiasts of His Royal Badness here on the SDMB, I’ve decided to post the occasional poll to see what the collective opinion is regarding the best (or favorite; your choice, really) song on each LP.

Soft and Wet. His first album was pretty standard AM funk/pop. The next one has some classics.
