Well, here we are after a bit, back to the wildly popular Prince album polls. This time it’s about his follow up to his critically beloved, under-selling Dirty Mind, the album known as Controversy. On this album, Prince begins his experimentation with electro-funk and -pop, while still penning a couple straight, tight funk numbers in the same vein as his last LP.
Personally, I think the album is a bit lightweight, especially compared to what came immediately before and after this album. But anyway, if you care to do so (and you know you do), please now select your favorite song from His Royal Badness’s fourth long player.
