Whats your favorite Weezer song?

Ok ok, this is the second Weezer related thread I have started in about 2 months, but I want to know, whats your fav? With this new album out (which rules ass for those who dont own it yet) I have had all 4 albums in heavy rotation in my CD player. All 4 are great in their own ways, but Pinkerton is my favorite out the bunch.

Either way, my top three favorite songs ranked in order are:

  1. El Scorcho from Pinkerton
  2. Death and Destruction from Malidroit (WTH is a Maladroit anyway)
  3. Only in Dreams tied with Say it Aint so and Susanne for third place.

It was a hard choice to make, but it had to be done for the good of mankind.

Weezer ownz dood!

I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for “In the Garage”, just because I love the lyrics:

I like the part about the Dungeon Master’s Guide, too.

However, I also like “Hash Pipe” a lot. Hey, I wonder if they’re going to cover Weezer in the “Top 6 @ 6” thread.

The word “maladroit” means inept or awkward.

“Hash Pipe” is the one most often stuck in my head, but the one I can sing cold is “Say It Ain’t So”. I dig the bridge part.

i reckon hash pie with buddy holly coming in a close second

Hands down it’s " Say it ain’t so." I only own their blue album, which I’m not particularly fond of besides that song and a couple others, but man, I love that song.

El Scorcho

Tired of Sex is a close second.

The whole Blue Album is a close third.

I’d have to say my fave is “No One Else,” from the blue album. I just really love that song. “El Scorcho” is a close second.

My favorite Weezer song is The Good Life. I listen to that song at least three times a day.

el Scorcho gets stuck in my head all the time. Which is bad if people overhear me singing to myself “God damn you half-Japanese girls”

I don’t have “Pinkerton” (planning to get it) or “Maladroit”, so my choices are somewhat limited. That being said, it’s a tie between “Say It Ain’t So” and “Undone (The Sweater Song)”.

Another thumbs up for “The Good Life,” and, oh, “Across the Sea.” And “Falling for You.” OH! And let’s not forget “Why Bother” and “Pink Triangle!” …

Awright, let’s just agree that “Pinkerton” is a top-notch album from beginning to end.
Let’s also add the B-side “Suzanne,” if only for the lyric: “Even Izzy, Slash, and Axl Rose/When I call you put them all on hold”

I like “Crab” from the green album - it’s just catchy.

Undone/Sweater Song is still my favorite.

i me

i am
goddamm

Pinkerton as a whole is my favorite album, but I haven’t gotten Maladroit yet.

I’ll go along with a lot of others and list “Say it Ain’t So” as my favorite, although “Buddy Holly” is so catchy I often find myself singing it at random points during the day; “Undone” is also great. Honorable mention to “Surf Wax America.”

Hell, mark me down for the whole blue album.

-Dirty

Right now it would have to be Hash Pipe.

In the Garage is one of the greatest songs in history, never mind just Weezer history. But the whole Blue album is really way up there.

Only in Dreams is without a doubt the best Weezer song, ever. I also really like Across the Sea.

  1. Surf Wax America

  2. Only in Dreams

  3. Suzanne

I’m partial to Island in the Sun… yet I admit it is the video that causes that.
