What's your local Ice Cream Parlor?

Ahem. I’d put Udder Delight ahead of both of them.

Our local place is Flint Farm, which has a lot of good flavors. Hmmm. I may have to load the family into the van to go get frappes.

There is, of course, Moo Time in Coronado. They have a depot at the Hotel Del. Almost makes it worth going back…

There’s also Sloan’s down in SoFlo, too!! It’s so zany and colorful and there are so many flavors to choose from along with tons of handmade unique treats!! They also sell a bunch of toys there, too. Stuff you wouldn’t find in your local Toys R Us…gag toys, animated horses, giant plushies, you get the drift. It’s fairly recent; been around since 1999 so officially 15 years. Also one location has this really rad bathroom.

I go here all the time after I go to the movies because it’s right downstairs below the movie theater. It’s expensive though, $5 for a cone or a small cup…but so worth it! Eating a waffle cone makes me feel really nostalgic, too.
