What's your Race???

I don’t KNOW what race I am!
I was born in California, though, so is that a race all by itself? My son email orders his own vegetarian lunch and my daughter calls her friends every morning on her cell phone to ask what they’re wearing to school today. They carry SPF 30 sunscreen in their backpacks with their bottled water and gelpens. I have voicemail from them to “pick up two de-caff lattes from Caffe en Vie or I guess Starbuck’s if you have to, thanks Mommy, you’re the best”.

Actually, when we consider young Californians, we may have to weigh the possibility that we’re not looking at a dirrent race, but at a new species.

ass elf.

I used to check other and write purple. But now I will be an ass elf.

Kaje,

I am somewhat perplexed regarding your theory about a singular race world being somewhat dysfunctional in regards to economic systems or jobs.
I find a key word in your response interesting. That word is people. People, not the various pigmintations, choose what they will contribute to society or not contribute.
As I place my hand on my forehead and awsome a posture of thinking, I find it difficult to conect the two theories.
Just more food(coucous) for thought.

I am of the blue orb race. We are great balls of blue and white that would put anyone in a state of awe, (God made us in his image, you don’t think he looks human, do you?).

As for this servo-machine I’m driving around in, it’s kinda pastey white but I cover it up most of the time with colorful garments.

According to the paint chips at Sears, I’m “autumnul gold”.

Seriously though, I’m pretty solidly Caucasian. English and German from mom’s side, French and Scottish from dad’s. There’s some Welsh, Irish, Dutch, Cherokee Indian, Armenian, Spanish, Norwegian, and Czechoslovakian mixed in there as well.

::sigh:: All you glorious mixtures have me envious.

I just call myself ‘human’.

Culturally, I’m of almost all English descent. Not just British, but English. Other than family members, I’m the only person I know with such a narrow selection of ancestors.

Perhaps to compensate, I live in a city with a delirious variety of peoples and languages (Toronto: go around the world without leaving town), and I remain fascinated by women from all over the world. Guess my personal genepool wants a little variety…
