As a kid, I was a big fan of elephants, and I suppose I still wouldn’t mind having one as a totem, but as it is, I think my totem is a sphinx. And yes, I’m aware of the obvious objection, but I don’t see that that should be an obstacle for totemhood.
Definitely a Basset Hound, goofy looking, with many vices, but frighteningly smart and motivated when push comes to shove.

I always identified pretty well to my Chinese zodiac being the rat – smart, capable, adaptable, clever – I asked my family what they thought. My son, husband and daughter all concurred I am a wolf. Wolves are on about the same level as rats, just without thumbs and with bigger teeth, I guess
Ox. I was born in the year of the ox, and I’ve always thought it represented me well: strong, dependable, loyal, slow to anger, can be stubborn, etc. etc.

All of the totem animal quizzes keep saying that I am a wolf. I suppose I can see that, though I think I am more of a snow leopard myself. I think my boyfriend is probably a moose or an elk.
Penguin. Comical demeanor, nicely dressed. Faint smell of herring.
