Actually, I tend to put earbuds/headphones on and listen to TalkRadio (USA).
The “blah blah blah” plus the noise cancelling effect tends to do the trick for me.
A belt of Limoncello always does nicely for me.
get a radio with a sleep timer and with an earphone output. lay an earbud under ear. listen to non-obnoxious talk radio.
I find a quarter of an ambien works great when i really need to get to sleep. It gets me out and then the natural sleep takes over.
