What've you loaned out to read, recently?

With some trepidation, I just lent out Foucault’s Pendulum by Umberto Eco to a co-worker. We were discussing…ahem…The DaVinci Code which she had just finished when I brought FC to her attention. I’m always a little hesitant to lend it out to someone I like because I’m afraid that my opinion of the lendee will be slightly diminished if they either can’t get through it or they don’t like it.

On the other hand, if someone returns in and was as amazed by as I was, then I know that the lendee is a person of rare character and intellect!
