Couldn’t agree more… but I see more hand waving in this thread and calls of racism than anything
As I always reply to posts like yours… when Ralph Kramden threatened to send Alice to the moon, did she look afraid?
OF COURSE NOT! Alice shrugged it off, because SHE was the boss of the hosuehold, and nobody knew it better than Ralph. His threats were empty and feeble, and Alice would never have put up with real abuse.
As often as not, Ralph snarled “Bang zoom” or “One of these days, right in the kisser” AFTER Alice had left the room, after putting him firmly in his place.
I’m sure there are people who oppose Obama for his policies or would have opposed any other Democrat’s policies just as vehemently. But if you think race has nothing to do with a lot of the vitriol, you’re a moron. Why else would what was essentially the Republican alternative to Hillarycare in 1993 become the epitome of evil socialism and the one thing that Republicans would shut down the government over? If Biden was president and the HCA became law, the right wing would have just shut the fuck up and learned to live with it. With Obama, it’s a fig leaf to cover up the darker side of human nature. It’s tribalism: “they” want to get “our” money.
NO, it wasn’t this bad with Bush. I hate that motherfucker with the fire of a thousand suns, but I sure as hell wouldn’t have tried to make an enactment of his death into a comedy show. The Dixie Chicks were crucified for daring to say they were ashamed to be from Bush’s state, yet batshit crazy Ted Nugent spews the most hateful lies about Obama and the right just shrugs it off with “well, the Democrats do it too.” Like fucking hell we do.
Seriously?
Bet your sweet bippie.
The OP must really hate the movie Point Break.
Lulz… I’ll just let this stand on it’s own…
The opposite of what you believe is actually the truth. Bush got hatred much more than Obama, and Obama’s race actually shields him from getting the amount of hate he would ordinarily get.
The next president, no matter which party he or she belongs to will get it also. Of course, you’ll only be able to see it if that person is a Democrat.
Why? Because they wore masks?
Heat was just a series of potshots at the Canadian Parliamentary system due to radical anti North of the Border sentiment. Fucking Val Kilmer.
There’s no comparison. Bush got a pass after the 2000 election furor died down. Nobody thought much of him, but nobody much minded having him in office; he’s mostly harmless, let the Pubs have their turn [shrug]. His popularity skyrocketed from the post-9/11 rally-'round-the-flag effect. He didn’t start attracting hate until he started actually doing things to attract it. But in Obama’s case, the hate started before he even took office – it started the moment it appeared he might get the nomination, if not sooner. And, yes, it is even worse and fiercer than what W got. Very few people ever said in apparent earnest that W might be the Antichrist.
Bush was hated for what he did, Obama is hated for who he is.
Deltasigma, just sayin’…

just a quick sampling. I am sure there are a few hundred more at least.
You misspelled “QFT”.
Gotta say, I was in a horrible mood this morning, but your posts have made lol more than I can say thank you for. That being said, thank you.
I, for one, don’t feel we should be coddling livers at the expense of hard-working kidneys.
Its a very efficient form of recycling. 3.2 Budweiser goes in, Coors comes out.
And I’m sure your unfounded guess as to how many there are is as accurate as your guess as to the contents of your own links. For the record, the cites you gave conclude:
- No
- Maybe
- Yes(but the writer is a numerology nutjob)
- Yes
- No

I’ve seen lazier research…but it’s been a while.

You’re welcome, Bob.
