Hm, unless you stared at her the whole time, you probably couldn’t tell.

At any rate, strict eye contacts cannot be constituted as flirting AFAIK. The closest would be the look, when a woman look at you out of the corner of her eyes. When you look in her direction, her gaze would dart quickly away, and then back.

It’s a lot more certain when combined with other cues, such as her throwing her head/hair back, lick her lips, smile, etc.

Of course, if she gives you the look a few times, it reinforces the signal.

However, the best advice I can give you is: don’t guess. When in doubt, take action. What have you got to lose?

OT: I got the cruising of a lifetime by a guy at pride yesterday (I’m 23 and admittedly kinda gay looking, but he was about 45!) :eek:

He was walking by, stopped right in front of me (about 4 INCHES away), and gave me a full-on, 5 second elevator stare… I could practically feel his eyeballs groping me!

Now I know what it’s like being a hot lady, and I’m so glad I’m not one. :smiley:
