When Famous Athletes Throw You Their Sweat Soaked Garment...

I got curious, watching Nadal win an Australian Open tennis match just now, when famous athletes throw you one of their sweat soaked garments or towels… would you catch it?

What do you do after you catch it?

Hold it like a dead mouse by the tail… or… do you put it in a ziplock bag (you would happened to have one handy for some reason) and take it home?

What do you do when you get home with it?

Hold it like a dead mouse.
Take it home.
Sell it on eBay.

Depends on the athlete, I guess. Someone of whom I’m personally a fan, I’d probably display it in some way, assuming it’s a jersey or cap or something cool like that…

If it’s a player I don’t care much about, or something like a towel or equally mundane item, I’d check the market and try to sell it for whatever I could get.

No need for a ziploc bag or holding it gingerly. It’s just sweat, no big deal.

[li]Catch it with the tongs I keep in my back pocket for just such occasions.[/li][li]Place in Zip-Loc bag.[/li][li]Present as evidence when I sue the creep for throwing his sweat at me.[/li][/ol]

Ask for my fucking Coke back. Taking a sip or a good gulp is one thing, but seriously, WTF?!

When you get home would you wash it or hang to dry?

Catch it, and depending on the athlete, either have it framed for display or sell it on an upcoming episode of Pawn Stars.
