When getting hot and heavy: woman unbuckling the man's belt, then PULLING THE BELT OFF HIS PANTS

I really wasn’t sure if I should put this in CS or IMHO. I’ve seen it both in movies and real life, but decided on CS since a movie scene reminded me of this question. Mods move at your desire.

I’ve seen quite a few scenes in the movies and real life of this situation: a man and woman are getting hot and heavy and are starting to undress each other. The woman unbuckles the man’s belt and then pulls the belt completely out of his pants.

I’ve never really understood this. Once the belt is unbuckled, nothing further is needed. The pants come off with the belt attached. It would be as if a man unhooks the woman’s bra strap, then pauses to loosen the shoulder straps before pulling her bra off.

Why does this happen?

Men, have you every understood this?

And if you are a woman that does this, why do you do it?

If you are a woman that *doesn’t *do this, do you understand why other women do it?

It’s sexy.

Implications of bondage play later.

If you saw the woman pull the belt out with her teeth, you’d understand.

All I know is just reading the title of this thread got me all hot and bothered.

It’s aggressive, and more than a little bit hungry. Like ripping a bodice, you know?

Some guys like that. I know I do.

It looks dramatic, and in perfectly-fitted clothes, it’s easy. ITRW, it’s neither necessary nor (with a little wear/sweat/tight loops binding) all that easy.

If you’re taking some time to get each other’s clothes off, I can see this. But when you’re frantically ripping each other’s clothes off, pulling the belt out just seems like an impediment to me.

Pulling off the belt is sexy.

However, folding the pants and hanging up the shirt so they don’t get wrinkled usually gets skipped over.

Speed isn’t the only goal. Why are you in such a rush?

The couple may not be intending to fully undress. That is to say, they might get it on while the man still has his shoes on and his pants around his ankles.

In which case, you want the belt off. The flapping buckle could cause injuries to various, ah, sensitive body parts.

Since the pants may have to be sent out for dry cleaning after, may as well remove the belt as well as check the pockets for keys and change.
It’s just common sense.

Hmmm… I’m having a hard time picturing how a flapping buckle, if it’s around the man’s ankles, could cause damage to sensitive parts. It seems like these are never near the sensitive parts during the, ah, “fun stuff”. I suppose the buckle could cause some damage during the prelude to the “fun stuff”…

Of course not, in all situations. Sometimes there is a more measured pace of undressing each other, and sometimes there is the “oh my god, get your clothes off right NOW” frantic situation. I’ve seen the “pulling the belt off” happen in the “oh my god…” case pretty often, too.

J.

Sure. Because some people find it sexy. A physical manifestation of how strong your feelings are. Other people don’t find it sexy at all.

Difference makes the world go round.

It’s like when she puts her foot on the deck and pulls the starter rope on a 6 HP Briggs & Stratton. Dude, you’re about to get your lawn mowed!

Because before she completes undressing him, she heads downtown and doesn’t want to keep banging her forehead into the buckle.

Yowch.

I did it once, will never do it again. Part of the belt rubbed against his side and it left a terrible burn. You do not want to hear your partner scream like that. Bit of a mood killer.

OTOH, there was one you’d see in Westerns made during the Sexual Revolution: she’d remove his boots by straddling his ankle while he sat and pushed with his other foot on her butt.
