Dave Foley as well, with a nod to the Kids in the Hall sketch linked above.
Dave Thomas, both of them.
Weird, for me it was almost all personal. In order of what I thought of…
6 guys named Dave who all worked in my office years ago. I took a picture of them all together at the company Christmas party (back when we had company Christmas parties) and posted it to the intranet site with the caption “Dave”.
I thought of both of them after I had posted my list above. I assume you meant the Great White North and the Wendy’s guy?
I wonder if anybody will say “Sam and Dave”…
I also wonder who will be the oldest, or longest dead, Dave to be mentioned. We could also have a list of Davids who were rarely called Dave.
Somebody ought to start a similar thread for another common name like Bob or Jim or Kevin.
Letterman.
The Minion from Despicable me, I have two children.
Dave Bowman. (i.e., “I’m sorry, Dave, I can’t do that…”)
This.
Wendy’s Dave Thomas
Ditto.
This.
Followed by “I’m sorry Dave, I’m afraid I can’t do that”.
David Lo Pan
First thought…
…followed instaneously by this:
Ditto
My human uncle on my maternal side.
Dave Davies of the Kinks.
