Paul from “Paul” the Simon Pegg/Nick Frost film popped straight into my head. Then I was like, I should come up with a real person, the OP probably wants a real person. Umm…umm…St. Paul! Tons of Pauls out there, I have to think hard to come up with one. :smack: That’s how my day has been.
I’m shocked that nobody has mentioned Paul Minié-Souteau, the French missionary who was later made a saint for his work among the Native American tribes along the upper Mississippi.

Not necessarily. The first Paul I thought of was Jennifer of the Jungle’s gorilla friend on The Electric Company. I don’t believe his last name was ever given.

First came the apostle Paul because it’s his only name so far as i know, cause I’m an atheist and it wasn’t cause he was fresh from Bible studies.
