According the NPR report I listened to this morning, there are some who argue that her policies directly led to England’s vulnerabilities in the most recent banking and economic crises. Primarily shifting the economy toward one based more on banking/financial markets and the heavy deregulation of industry that she implemented had a direct impact to today.
I don’t know nearly enough to agree or disagree, but the argument that her policies directly affected the today’s economy and a such are negatively impacting people right now.
That was so weird! I had not read this thread until earlier today, and of course I noted that the majority of it was from 2009…and that it had been revived in 2012 and then again last month…
