You know, Fenris, none of that might actually happen if everyone didn’t keep prodding and poking and provoking her in this thread. So she over-reacts and claims everyone is out to get her - you think the way to remedy this is to poke fun at her? Think that really helps the situation?
Your last post was the equivalent of “pulling up a lawn chair”, laughing at things Opal’s done in the past, and ganging up on her by encouraging others to do the same. No matter how ridiculous Opal is or is not being, I think that’s sad.

and, having followed the saga through the stages, I could have predicted this whole thing. She originally posted a thread about t-shirt designs, linking her ‘for sale here’ link. it was closed and she was informed about the rule.
Saw this one. And agree that it amounts to a ‘for sale’ site. Given that the mods also closed down a joke thread where Esprix was auctioning off gum w/attached gay porn (and it was obviously a joke, bids were a penny sort of thing), I’m curious why anyone would be surprised at this.
and, FWIW, I’m quite happy that folks aren’t selling things right and left around here.

I think the reactions in this thread, be they from the board owner or from ordinary members, are very telling. One can only take so much bullshit.
As maybe, this still feels like yet another SDMB pile on.
Not a bad point, although one can wonder if it’s still a pile-on if you start it yourself, with no valid complaint, for the umpteenth time.
Pitting a newbie for poor spelling and getting 54 regulars to agree with you may be considered a pile-on.
This hardly qualifies, IMHO.
Since I think the point has been made could this thread be closed down then.

I think that is the key. 
There is one golden rule here and IMHO **Opal ** stepped over it. If anything Opal is being given the benefit of the doubt- again.
While I do not have a dog in this fight, I hope Opal apologizes so we can all move on. Oh, and I like T-shirts!
