For those of you who know what I’m talking about, the STALKER people have been teasing us for five years with what looks to be the most ambitious, amazing FPS yet to be. And it’s still impossible to find a release date anywhere in sight.
Does anyone have any prediction as to when this game is going to be released? I’ve been following the official Stalker Website for a long time, and from the trailers and screenshots, it seems like the game is very close to being finished.

No point in guessing… release dates are usually meaningless. The games come out either when they’re ready or when the publisher gets fed up and demands their release.
Half past never. I’m predicting a Daikatana like release, with it both falling short of expectations and being surpassed by games released since it was announced.
Silentgoldfish nailed it, especially given the recent rumblings from that Russian magazine that the game barely exists in a playable state and THQ is looking to give it to another developer.
