When you read the thread title, which dopers do you expect to find inside?

The other day in GQ psychonaut asked the question “What is this prog-rock musician doing?”. There’s a video of a guy tweaking an old synthesizer. Right off the top of my head doper VCO3 came to mind. (VCO in synthesizer terms is Voltage Controlled Oscillator - part of what makes the sound of a synth)

Of course when I read the thread I fully expected to see VCO3 even though I wasn’t sure if he was a synth geek or not.

Thread titles I would bet money would contain particular posters:

Any thread on small aircraft or small British cars, I better see Johnny LA posting or I’ll assume bears ate him in the wilds of Washington.

I also expect to see Tuckerfan in most car threads (or threads about giant robots or cats).

For obvious reasons based on their homeland, threads containing the word “Canada” will contain at least one of the following: featherlou, Larry Mudd, Sunspace, Northern Piper, GingerOfTheNorth, Spoons, Savannah, RickJay and/or Muffin (I know I’ve missed of few of you)

If it’s a thread about museums or prisons, I’d end my subscription if I didn’t see Lissa posting.

Any thread with a weird-ass title,. Bosda Di’Chi of Tricor will be there.

Any other doper/thread title combos you’d bet money on?

Demonymic subtensions of fourth century Christochaldaeic emblasts

Polycarp

I can see that

Threads about Judaism I expect to see Anne Neville.
Threads about gay issues, Myself, Otto,EnsignEdison et al.
Threads that obviously violate board or forum rules, a mod.

fishbicycle in anything that involves the Beatles.
I like the guy. And the Beatles, too.

That’s a bit too easy, eh, for such a one trick pony? I mean, what the hell *else *does he talk about?

The name I never expect is Cecil.
When he answers something I have to pull out my calendar and put a mark on it to recall the day

WordMan in almost any thread about guitars, and many about music in general.

And we’re all the richer for it. I do though remember you yourself providing some marvelous insight on band histories. Face it dude… you’re a valued asset.

Anything with TMI in the title - lieu.

Regards,
Shodan

“Showgirls” or “Starship Troopers”:

Hmm. Can’t think of anyone.

I just saw a “Doper herbalists” request and of course trotted right in there. I don’t think there ARE any other herbal friendly folks on the Dope (or they’re all in the closet), so the OP might as well have written, “Hey, WhyNot! Get yer ass in here!” The rest of the thread will be full of people ripping herbalism to shreds, of course.

Oh, and any polyamory thread will inevitably turn into an “Ask the…” thread starring **Liliaren **and I.

And cmkeller, Shoshana, and that other guy
