Where are the onion bagels?

July 2007 = Onion Bagels disappear from south Louisiana.

March 2014 = Onion Bagels disappear from central Virginia.

It’s the Zombie Onion Bagel Apocalypse!!!

After my post 7 years ago my Noah’s no longer had onion bagels. The manager told me corporate had decided to stop them. I wrote an emphatic email, they got restored, and the manager gave me a free dozen to thank me.
I still don’t know why anyone would be so stupid as to kill onion bagels.

I used to get excellent frozen bialys at our Safeway - but they vanished too. No surprise since I’m probably one of the few around here who had ever seen one before.

I’ve never been so thankful to have NY Bagel and Bialy ten minutes from my house. Open 24 hrs and they have the best onion bialys as well as bagels.

Of course… since I live near NYC, I can actually buy a bagel at a store, and get a bagel, instead of a donut roll.

That good enough, or do I need to be more dismissive, like Jon Stewart with Pizza?

There are always plenty at the local pig, and at the Food Clown on the south side of town.

These two posts just fit together ***so ***well!

Because they want to eat our brain bagels!!!

No your not the only one I can’t find them anywhere and I’m in GA I couldn’t find them In FL either I’ve tried lenders Onion bagels and those are nasty they taste like a garlic bagel only thing I can suggest is have u looked on there website and see if there is anything in your state where u can find them ? I do know EBay has them lol hopefully we can find them I’ve had to switch over to Thomas everything bagels until I can find there onion bagels again :frowning:

2016 GA and FL …

YOU CANNOT PURCHASE A REAL BAGEL UNLESS YOU LIVE IN BROOKLYN OR MANHATTAN AND SHOW A VALID I.D. WITH ADDRESS AT YOUR LOCAL BAGEL/BIALY-ONLY SHOP. Even Queens and the Bronx are suspect, and Staten Island may as well be Peoria.

There. That should do it.

CA is still safe; I had onion bagels for breakfast yesterday…except that they were those big puffy things that I’m sure no self-respecting New Yorker would call a bagel at all.

Ukulele Ike:

You take that back! I’ll put the bagels at Main Street Bagels & Appetizing up against anything in the overcrowded boroughs.

I’ve got a few spare punctuation marks if you need any.

Meanwhile, my Randall’s (Texas) has fairly decent fresh-made bagels, but they don’t seem to do onion either. Weird.

I agree about the Lenders. I get onion bagels in the bakery section on the grocery store I go to when they aren’t sold out. They are very good, but not the best.

I have no problem finding onion bagels. Garlic one, on the other hand. . … I feel I may have said this in the past.

No disrespect intended toward the gentlemanly borough to my north.

I just wanted to do the “dickhead-New-Yorker-in-the-bagel-thread” post before anyone else got a chance.

SCORE! (Spikes ball in end zone)

So now, who wants to discuss Nathan’s Famous vs. Chicago hot dogs? I’M IN FULL NY DICKHEAD MODE AND RARIN’ TO GO
