I was listening to a local college radio station (ambient hour) and There was a song by Jonathan Hayes called Sky that was just absolutely beautiful. I called up the station, and they got it sent it a compelation disk, and they couldn’t help me find it. I searched the net and could not find any info. Please help!
What you heard may have been a demo for an upcoming CD. The reason I say that is as follows:
The only place that I found that mentions that particular track is that it appeared on an episode of MTV’s “Real World – Chicago” – check it out here.
I then used that info to find this site, which mentions that his music is “unreleased” and that he has an album coming out in the near future. It mentions that he plays with a band called Smack Radio, which plays in the L.A. area, but it sounds like the music is of a totally different style than what his solo music would be.
So keep looking, his CD may be out soon.
