I’m attending a wedding reception tomorrow (the actual wedding was a year ago) and I was thinking about breaking expectations by bringing a small gift – something simple and cliche, like a muffin basket. Where can I buy one?
At any housewares store if you’re talking about a serving basket for bread and rolls and stuff.

No - for that, you’d want Harry & David, Mrs. Field’s, or a place like that (online), or for a brick and mortar store, Corner Bakery is always good - also, a local bakery could probably do something up for you if you called them in advance. For that matter, check your local grocery store - if they have a bakery, maybe they could too.

Exactly. A basket becomes a “muffin basket” solely through utility. At some other point it can be a basket into which all your eggs should not go.
