Where can I donate a bunch of scrapbooking supplies?

Thoughts? There’s not a huge amount, just a boxful.

You can post about it on Freecycle, or possibly give it to a nursing home, or a school. I know that a lot of teachers pay for classroom supplies out of their own pockets.

I agree with Lynn. Teachers love those kinds of things.

Any day care centers near you? “Scrapbooking supplies” doesn’t tell me too much, but I see big plastic buttons and stickers and letter shapes in the scrapbooking aisles, and those sound like good little-kid art supplies to me …

I vote for the local elementary school.

Senior citizens center. Local childrens’ hospital. Assissted living facility.

Any elementary teacher will gladly take them. Any art teacher at any K-12 level will also take them.

Or a Girl Scouts troop? Or drop them off at Goodwill?

You could drop them off at a Big Brothers Big Sisters location; volunteers use all kinds of art supplies and things like that, especially for their in-school programs where the number of activities are limited.
