Thoughts? There’s not a huge amount, just a boxful.
You can post about it on Freecycle, or possibly give it to a nursing home, or a school. I know that a lot of teachers pay for classroom supplies out of their own pockets.
I agree with Lynn. Teachers love those kinds of things.
Any day care centers near you? “Scrapbooking supplies” doesn’t tell me too much, but I see big plastic buttons and stickers and letter shapes in the scrapbooking aisles, and those sound like good little-kid art supplies to me …
I vote for the local elementary school.
Senior citizens center. Local childrens’ hospital. Assissted living facility.
Any elementary teacher will gladly take them. Any art teacher at any K-12 level will also take them.
Or a Girl Scouts troop? Or drop them off at Goodwill?
You could drop them off at a Big Brothers Big Sisters location; volunteers use all kinds of art supplies and things like that, especially for their in-school programs where the number of activities are limited.
