I hate how all the women’s t-shirts these days are paper-thin. Every roll is highly visible. They’re pretty much flattering only to girls of 0% body fat. I’m not even overweight and these wafer-thin shirts create fleshy bulges that I didn’t even know I had.
And as far as the see-through properties go, as sexy as that may sound to be see-through all day, there are actually times when you want your goods covered up. They would prefer that at work.
The very worst though, is a white t-shirt or tank top. I have a single white tank that is NOT see-through that I found once at a thrift store. No tag, no label on where I could find another. This single white non-see-through tank top is a treasured object in my wardrobe, one that I almost never wear for fear of wearing it out, staining it, etc.- once it’s gone, there will not be any more opaque white tank tops in the entire world.
I know the response is “they’re supposed to be thin because you’re supposed to layer them!”- but I don’t buy it. Besides, where I live it 90+ degrees for 6 months out of the year. Nobody here wants to wear bunchy layers all summer long.
Have any ladies here had any luck with a definitely not see-through white tank top? Preferably something I can buy online? Or buy 10-20 of them so I never have to worry about ruining them?
