So I’ve returned from a week in the Algarve loaded down with Amarguinha, an almond liqueur so rare and mysterious there’s not even a Wikipedia page about it. Unfortunately, thermodynamics being what they are I’ll eventually run out, likely before there’s another conference to draw me back to Portugal.
So, where could I replenish my stock? I’m soon to move to New Orleans, so does anyone know of…
(a) a good liquor store that sells the stuff there, or
(b) if it’s legal to have alcohol shipped to one’s home address there and a company that would ship it to me?
