I teach 7th grade and we are just about to learn about newspaper articles and journalism in general. I’d like to show the kids a news story about the earthquake that is fairly easy to read and gives the basic rundown of what has happened and also includes quotes from people involved.
I can’t find anything but current news stories, which mostly focus on the second quake and individual stories.
I guess any decent, easy to read article that is about the quake itself would be helpful.
Anyone know where I can find an earlier one?
