Where can I find numerical data of a small group of participants (15-30)

Hey,

For my stats class my professor wants us to use some numerical data related to our major for a project.

It has to be numerical, and there can only be 15-30 observations for only one numerical characteristic.

I’ve been on google since noon, and I am finding absolutely nothing with such a small amount of observations, that is numerical, and that is related to my major (Political Science)

Any help as far as where I should look? All of the stats I find with politics are either catagorical (not numeric answers), or there are too many observations/partipants.

Thanks guys…this sucks :stuck_out_tongue:

Wouldn’t it be simple to run a short survey yourself?

haha…yea, but he wants a real study :frowning:

It’s hard because numerical data means the answers have to be numbers, so I mean I’ve been looking for stuff like “Number of registered voters in your household” and that sort of thing, but it’s even harder because the study has to have 15-30 observations.

I googled “average age” in an attempt to find phrases like “The average age of the participants was approximately 25” or something. Looks like a few good results. Maybe try also “average height” or “average number of people” or “average number of children”? I know you’re not looking for averages, but hopefully that will get you linked to a good place. What googling did you already try?

Thanks for trying! I’ll look at that.

I tried googling “15 participants numerical data politics” (all the way up to 30 participants).

It was my question, but I figured I’d finish the topic. I found something that I can use that’s actually pretty cool: http://homer.ssd.census.gov/cdrom/lookup

You can specify a state, county, etc, and get specific things (amount of families, etc).

I’ll just do this with 15 states or counties, and be all set
