Where can i find, "Sloan's Anagesic Rub"

I purchased one tube of this gel in Taiwan few months back for my mom, she claims it works very well, but now she’s out and I’m hoping with the same main active ingredient (not sure which it is in this gel) is available in the states. Here are the ingredients in the 50g tube:

ea gram contains Methyl Salicylate 100mg. Camphor 40mg. Menthol 40mg, Turpentine Oil 14mg, Methyl Paraben (0.3%w/w) and Propyl Paraben (0.05% w/w) as preservative.
thanks in advance!

Google may be your friend, but it can get quite cranky if you leave a letter out of your search term:
“Sloan’s Analgesic Rub”

Unfortunately, it looks like the stuff is sold primarily in Malaysia. :frowning:

What does “Go to keyword” mean?

Ezstrete is one of those afflicted with ‘AOLitis’. She may recover some day.

Just use Google with the same search parameters to find what she mentioned. I’d buy some just for the handlebar moustache alone.

If it easier to find BenGay, they are very similar preparations.

Spoke with a Pharmacist and he said Theragesic has similar main active ingredient to Sloans gell, so I got a tube… Bengay doesn’t seem to help her much.

Thanks everyone for the helpful suggestions! I realized I could order through the internet, but worried about lapse due to shipping from SE Asia and mom’s flare up started yesterday… unfortunately, I didn’t learn about her lack of Sloans gel the same time. But might be good idea to order now and hope this Theragesic will suffice until shipment arrives.

Again, thanks!

After recovering from the shovel -in- the - ribs’ comment permit me to introduce myself------------partially.

I am an octogenarian heavily disabled ww2 Marine who has been 23 years fully retired after 37 years with a large power system.

This status affords me the time to spend as much time as I choose enjoying those technical marvels which were concieved, developed and perfected by members of MY generation.

F’rinstance I deeply admire the total hand controls on my Crown Vic.

If ,occasionally, my comments are a little out of step it is because I use my computer as an instrument of entertainment.

I have NO desire to becaome an internet maven, real or assumed.

If I commit an occasional gauche It makes me be what I am—a member of the race.

But,as of now, my head has not been shaped for soft patting, nor do I respond well to a condescending “there-there” attitude.

Happy to meet you!

I assure you that’s the case - my alternative was to post the dry and boring explanation, which I’ve learnt to avoid. Ezstrete should be more concerned I called him a her. :o

I’ve pretty well gotten over my momentary tenderness and accept the explanation at it’s face.

However I have been, since 1939,except fot those ww2 years, the constant companion of a “her” who is in the next room as I write.

Mylady is of a quality which exceeds the exceptional, and therefore having referred to me as a "her"is not disparraging since I immediately consider the word in terms of her as an example of the title.
