I want to buy a theramin, not build one. Anybody know of any thermin stores?
Good luck. Everybody I know had to build theirs. You might want to check out the musicjinx message board to see if anybody there has any info.
I entered theremin for sale into Google and got quite a few hits, including several home pages/web sites that were devoted to the theremin. (RCA appears to have built one, years ago, as that brand is frequently mentioned.)
IIRC, you could get a theremin from an electronic discount mail-order outfit, the name is on the tip of my tongue… Collins ? Damark ? one of those…
Magazine Electronics Now Feb. 1996, issue had an article on how to build one. I wonder if it may have some info on where to buy one.
