I think I’ve done everything right. The printer wouldn’t print from the laptop. It would print from the desktop, of course, since it’s directly connected. Not with the laptop that’s on our home network. I uninstalled the printer driver and downloaded and installed a new one. No dice. When I get to the Add Printer Wizard and tell the thing to browse for a printer, the only one it finds is not the one I’m using. I gotta get a little help with this. Anyone know a good source I can work with? thanks.

Do the desktop and laptop see each other? Are they in the same workgroup? Is the printer in that workgroup too?
You know, I dicked around for a while and somehow got something working.
I hate these things that I know nothing about but that run my life.
