Where can I practice Omaha poker?

I just read an excellent poker book (‘Devilfish’ by Dave Ulliot, an English champion) where he describes playing Omaha (hold’em) poker.
I have played Texas hold’em, and would like to try Omaha - but only for fun!

Can anyone recommend a website where I can:play Omaha for free, preferably v a computer?

I certainly don’t want to pay any fee nor gamble for money…

Do you want to play against AI or real people? Limit, pot limit, no limit, hi-lo, some combination? A search brings up a lot of options but it’s hard to recommend something without that guidance.

I’d prefer to play :

  • v AI
  • no limit

Now I’m imagining Peyton Manning picking up a hand of cards, and yelling “OMAHAAA!”

I played some in-person Omaha last night at a friends’ game. We do a few different games in rotation but last night included pot limit Omaha (PLO) and pot limit Omaha high-low.

My advice for learning Omaha on a screen is to disable notifications that summarizes your hand for you. You need to start to see your four cards as two and it takes some training. I’ve been playing for 10 years and I still regularly lose chips and/or make a damned fool of myself by misreading my hand.

Last night, I had something like 6653. The flop is 65T and I thought I had a full house and bet. But it was only a set of sixes which isn’t very good in Omaha and I was lucky to realize and fold at the river.

POT! is what’s usually shouted but Peyton’s call has definitely slipped through these lips. “Three-nineteeeen!! Omahaw, Omahaw, hutty. Hutty! hike.” darts eyes & finally deals
