I know it’s not 1985 anymore but cars still get hot, don’t they?
Upholstery is different now isn’t it? You don’t have to worry about the dashboard or your seat cracking and looking like shit.
Plus, if your steering wheel gets super hot you can just buy a cloth cover of some sort and not have to spend time getting it set up when you enter and exit your vehicle.
You can relax. They’re alive and well in the parking lot at my office.

A lot of people still use them where I work. Most of these folks are on night shift. I think the reasonable conclusion is that the moon is more likely than the sun to heat up your car’s interior and ruin the upholstery.
