Fall/Winter 1998-1999 Otterbein College, Westerville, Ohio (school was on quarters, I only finished two )
Summer Session I 2003 Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis (IUPUI) - I took one class, then stopped. I really should have filled out my FAFSA 'cause paying almost $600 for a speech class really sucked. And then I didn’t have the money (obviously) to pay for more of 'em.
FWIW, I do plan on attending college in the future and finishing a degree, although I have no idea when or in what. I’m really busy with my Mary Kay business right now (I’m going to quit my sucky day job next May), and we’re going to have a baby next year (we hope to get pregnant in June). But then I wonder … when will I have the time? And, frankly, what’s the point of going back. sigh
I know someone who went there! He should’ve graduated in 2002. How 'bout you?
David Lipscomb College, Nashville,TN – B. A. in History, 1983
Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN – took graduate courses in History without finishing M. A. degree, 1984-1985
Tennessee State University, Nashville, TN – M. Ed., 1992
Took “time off” to decide on a major…
I had 5 in the 2 yrs I was there - Journalism, Communications, Telecommunications, Advertising, Fine Arts.
Went to Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts and have been gainfully employed at a job I enjoy ever since. I doubt I’ll go back & finish until I retire.
In 243 days, I’ll have my BS in Chemistry with a minor in history from UMass Lowell. If anyone else is from here, Go Riverhawks? No, none of us are sure what a river hawk is. The mascot costume is scary. We call them the riverrats, but then again, we’re a bunch of cynical bastards.
Hopefully, fingers crossed, prayers to all gods listening, UC Davis for a PhD in organic.
I’m taking film at Sheridan College (I think it’s actually an Institute of Technology now) right now. I have an option to finish a degree at York University which would make me class of 2007.
***Livingston University * ** (Now known as The University of West Alabama, which effectively makes the name bigger than the school. I did NOT approve the name change.)
