Which brings up an independent blacksmith as an option. Not so much in major urban areas, but there may well be an independent bladesmith not too far waway that can craft what the OP wants. Especially since it’s targeting a size between a large knife and what many mass produced short swords will measure. A chance to specify a blade design/geometry and the steel used for a custom item is going to open up a lot more options.
The fact that I have been catching up on episodes of the recent Forged In Fire season may have something to do with that being my first thought.
Note that just because someone’s a blacksmith doesn’t mean that they’ll be able to make a decent sword. The techniques involved in a good sword are completely different from those in making good horseshoes or shovels or nails or any of the other more prosaic pieces of ironmongery.

snfaulkner, I do like that sword and the work put into it, would prefer a straight guard, but my biggest suspicion is who makes it, since it is on eBay.
