Buy a nice blazer. It’s hard to be uncouth while wearing a blazer. You’ll start buying clothes and shoes that have to go with the blazer. You’ll avoid doing things that would risk leading to spilling stuff on the blazer. It will make you feel overdressed at uncouth events you shouldn’t be at. Works like a charm.
Zsofia, I still feel funny saying it, but I love ballroom dancing! I’m still very much a beginner (for openers, there’s a BIG hitch in my cross-body lead), but it’s amazing that this guy who was recently compared to Hank Hill can actually move across the floor.
Oh, I’ve been loving Dancing with the Stars because Jerry Springer dances just like we do, only we’re in our 20’s and have no excuse except that we’re clumsy people who walk like Clydesdales. Unfortunately we’ve had to take a hiatus because he’s working late and I’m going on a trip soon, but we’ll be back. I really enjoy the lessons, even if we really do suck!
