I guess I don’t know where to look, but I don’t see anyone giving a peace sign. And why on earth would you assume it was to represent the gunmen? Wouldn’t it make more sense to assume they saw the car and just wanted to flash a peace sign in hopes of getting caught on camera? I’m sure that the people of Columbine don’t spend all day thinking about the gunmen and looking for ways to give coded signals representing…whatever.

Just found another great image, from the University of Virginia. It’s great because a.) the camera shadow and b.) the way those boys are reacting to the camera. There’s something alien-invasion about the scene.
