So what you’re saying is that socks are quantum entangled?
As to the quote…Discourse is fussy about white space. Because you didn’t have the word “Wrong” on a new line it didn’t correctly parse the closing tag. If you try again with a carriage return after the last bracket it works.
Yes, it’s because you put text on the same line as the end quote. Both the quote tag and the end quote tag need to be the only thing on their line in Discourse.
I can fix that for you, if you request it, but I’ll be busy for a couple hours.
Found that missing sock! It’s in here, palling around with my favorite Smartwool Snowboarding Sock…
Seriously, saw this laundromat from a cable car late one night in San Francisco. Then it was mentioned in one of Armisted Maupin’s tales of the city books.
I’m too lazy to pair socks anyway. All my socks are black, so nobody will notice if I’m wearing two socks that were not originally bought together. I don’t pair them in the drawer, I just put them in individually, and when I need socks I take any two out. So in your situation I would, without hesitation, have put the dirty sock in the hamper and the clean one in the drawer. I hope this is not a confession that will make me come across as weird.
