Where is Ray Barone's house?

I would like to find the houses that were the exterior houses of Ray and Ray’s parents on “Everybody Loves Raymond”. I have looked on Google and on Google Earth to no avail.

I know the houses are in North Merrick, Long Island and they are actually across the street from each other. I think it would be interesting to get a street view and actually see both of them.

Any New Yorkers out there? Anyone know?

According to this posting, it’s at 135 Margaret Blvd. I don’t know which house stood in for the parents’ because I don’t remember what it was supposed to look like.

Raymond’s house is yellow, and his parents’ house is red (assuming they still have those colors).

Huh. Interesting. I knew they were on Long Island but I didn’t know the locations were a just 5 minute walk from my house!

Isn’t in it in Lynbrook? Or is that the same thing as North Merrick?

Marie: “I don’t want to be known as the whore of Lynbrook!”

Frank: “We can move from Lynbrook…”

I’m guessing the show’s setting and the actual location of the homes used in the exterior shots might not be one in the same.

I just checked an episode of ELR, and yes, these are the houses. The light one is Raymond’s and the red one is his parents’.

And the way they’re aligned, it’s very plausible that someone could back out of the parent’s driveway and without stopping, wind up in Ray’s living room (in one of the episodes).

And in spite of the line about Lynbrook, the houses are between Merrick and North Merrick (further east than Lynbrook).

This is the Nassau County Assessors page for the house with picture

Input either the address or Section 56, Block 83, Lot 1

So, there really is a Lynbrook? I always assumed it was a made up name where they just swapped the syllables of Brooklyn.

It is:
[QUOTE=Wikipedia]
The area currently known as Lynbrook had other names, including Rechquaakie (originally), Near Rockaway, Parson’s Corners, and Bloomfield. It was later named Pearsall’s Corners, after Mr. Pearsall’s General Store because this store became a famous stage coach stop for travelers coming from New York City to Long Island. Alternately, it was called “Five Corners” because the stage coach stop was at the crossing of Hempstead Avenue, Merrick Road, and Broadway. It became known as Lynbrook in 1894 and the village was incorporated in 1911.[1] The name “Lynbrook” is derived by dividing “Brooklyn” into its syllables and transposing them, a tribute to the original home of many of the town’s turn-of-the-century residents.

I’m pretty sure Ray’s house is located in some sort of weird vortex.

Ray’s back door leads directly to his parents’ back door. But if you leave out Ray’s front door, you have to cross the street to get to his parents’ house.

You sure use a lot of fancy words to say “hell”.

He lived on Mobius Court.
