I have tried searching for this thread for at least a week.
I don’t know if it was lost in the Great Hamster Attack of 2002 or what, ( or I am a retard, but finding DEAD POOL should be pretty brainless. I could be wrong.) but …
What I am getting at is…
Who is in the lead for Dead Pool 2002 Winner?
Are we ( meaning whomever is in charge TOMNDEB or Little Nemo…I get them mixed up, sorry gentlemen) doing it again this year?
That would be Little Nemo and the thread is actually death pool, not dead pool, which may be why your search didn’t find it. Here it is – though I don’t have the patience to read through it to see who’s in the lead…
Unless the two people who picked Carol Burnett’s daughter (62 points) picked another winner, the person who picked Lisa “Left Eye” Lopez (70 points) is in the lead.
I think.
If Little Nemo is not interested in maintaining the list for 2003, I’d be willing to take over. Just so’s ya know.
I’ve been offline so I’m checking in late here. Personally, I’m not planning on starting a Celebrity Deathpool thread this year. It’s more work than you might realize. If a35362 or anyone else wants to pick up the torch, they may do so with my blessing.
A number of posts from last year’s thread were lost in the December crash. So it’s hard to say who’s “officially” winning.
And finally, I’d like to call first dibs on Warren Zevon if someone does start a 2003 thread.
**Little Nemo ** I would personally like to thank you for your past efforts - all outstanding! - in keeping tally of the Famous Dead Folk who have passed on and the points we earn in our macabre game
In 2000, I started it in the last week of December, mainly because that’s when I thought of it. In 2001, I decided to use the month of December as the entry period with January 1st as the “closing” date. However, in both cases, I let new entries continue to trickle in for several days past the 1st.
