Someone at work had Animal Planet or the Travel Channel or somesuch on the office TV (sound off), and I caught the briefest glimpse of a dam that rather impressed me.
It looked as if the builders had tried valiantly to seamlessly integrate the dam into its natural environment. So instead of a solid wall of concrete, the downstream side had been built up with rocks, cliffs, vegetation, etc. The [I don’t know what it’s technically called? Discharge? Overflow?] water was integrated into what looked like a natural waterfall.
Anybody know where this is?
