Critical and Velocity?
My car club is redesigning it’s stickers, and we’re looking for some new ideas…
Assuming that your browser can display Japanese text, you should be able to read this if you set the encoding to Japanese (EUC).
Using my favorite resource for Japanese characters, Jim Breen’s WWWJDIC, this is what I came up with. The dictionary search page is here. Unfortunately, I can’t find where to download the packages to make IE display Japanese characters, so if you can’t see it, you’re out of luck there.

For nicer looking kanji, there is a package called Jim’s Kanji. The page linked to has ftp information. Basically, it’s a collection of true type fonts that contain a few thousand kanji total.
For the few times I’ve wanted to do stuff with kanji, I use a rather long method to get the best results. I use the WWWJDIC to find the characters I want, and get their Nelson Number from there. Then I look up by Nelson Number the character in Jim’s Kanji, using a text file included with it. As I said, I’d be glad to help.
Incidentally, what sort of car club is this?
Thanks… sadly, since I’m on at work, I can’t add in the stuff to make it read new fonts/languages, so I’m SOL… however, at http://www.kanjisite.com we found some stuff that worked out.
We’re an Import Racing Club… you know, the guys that zoom around in Civics and Integras with large exhaust piping, and a serious need to prove themselves against V8 motors?

Yeah, I know of those sorts of things. My roommate has an Impreza that he keeps buying stuff for and he takes it to autocrosses and stuff. I’m planning on getting a Miata myself soon, and I think I’ve been bitten by the bug as well. I can’t stop myself from looking at things like SCCA Solo I approved roll bars on the web.
If you let me know which kanji you found, I could easily make a less pixillated picture than the ones they have there, if you like.

We’re not so much into the autocross… we’re more of a 1/4 mile guys… but that may change, it’s a new thing.
Your friend wouldn’t post on ClubSi.com would he? There’s a guy in there that posts who autocrosses in an imprezza…
ClubSci? Never heard of it. I know he posts at an Impreza board, but I don’t think autocrossing an Impreza would be a distinguishing feature there. Well, good luck with the new logo, even you’re boring straight-line acceleration guys ;).

For what it’s worth, I don’t even have a license yet… (stop laughing, I know I’m 25)
But it’s interesting to see how much power can be wrung out of a little 4-banger.
And there’s not a lot of straight line stuff when one is racing a Mustang on the public streets… not that we would do things like that, but you know… heheheh
