I know that price can vary like the price of a used car can vary, but with used cars, there are general trends that are pretty easy to see - e.g. for US $20,000 I can get one of last year’s Toyotas, with $10,000 I might be able to get a three or four year old Chevy, for $5,000 I could probably swing a 2005 BMW, etc.

I’ve…researched…this quite extensively. Here’s what “normal rates” actually are :
Argentina, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Brazil : all these countries have a pool of beautiful women. The going rate is around $60-$100 a bang for the quality of woman you’d probably be happy with. (essentially, to screw an 8-9 by the standards* of most men…or at least my “friend” who did the field research)
It’s surprisingly close in price between these far off countries.

Well, Thailand didn’t pop up yet because I just now saw this.
Prices in Thailand vary. In general, Bangkok’s more expensive than upcountry, even Pattaya. (And you can see photos of Bangkok hookers easily too.) But some say the selection in Bangkok is better. YMMV. And you can pretty much make it as expensive or as cheap as you want. You can find an amphetamine-addicted scuzz on the sidewalks of lower Sukhumvit Road in the wee hours of the morning and probably have her for 10 bucks American. Or you can patronize one of the burgeoning escort services and have a lady with beauty-contest looks stay with you all night for $300 or $400. And there’s lots in between.
But in general, a decent freelancer on the street will go with you short-time (2-3 hours) for 1500-200 baht ($46-$62 at the current rate of exchange) or long-time (all night) for 3000-4000 baht ($93-124). But who knows? If your bargaining skills are good, you could get it for less.
If you take a lady out of a bar, they have what’s called a “barfine,” a fee paid to the bar to compensate them for the loss of the lady for the duration. (The thinking is the fewer ladies visible in the bar, the fewer customers will be attracted.) This is in addition to the fee paid to the lady. The bars generally split the barfine with the lady, and the lady keeps all of whatever she can get from you. The aforementioned rates used to be standard, but I’m hearing grumblings from my friends who do still indulge that prices are rising. Shouldn’t be much more than what I listed above, although in the bars that hire only the best-looking ladies, those ladies tend to charge more. Some bars, albeit increasingly fewer, have in-house short-time rooms, but you still have to pay the barfine.
