Where to buy an Australian flag or kangaroo bell?

Does anyone know where to buy a small metal bell with a kangaroo or Australian flag on it?

It is supposed to be good luck if someone gives you a small bell for your motorcycle.

My girlfriend is Australian and just ordered a new motorcycle and I want to find one for her.

BTW, I’ve been riding bikes for 20 years and I’ve never heard of that particular superstition. Where does it come from?

Thanks Motog! I actually found that one myself when I was looking. It would be hard to hang on a bike and it’s a little big.

My guess is that it came from someone trying to sell bells for motorcycles. :slight_smile:

The bells go on the frame of the bike as close to the ground as possible. They are usually about an inch to an inch and a half tall. Here is a link to a picture of some next to a quarter. Unfortunately none of these have kangaroos or Australian flags.

I was reviewing my last post when I realized that here I am appealing to the international community and using American money as the example of size. In case anyone doesn’t know the above referenced quarter is about the size of a bottle cap off a beer bottle. I am thinking beer is fairly universal. :slight_smile:
