Where to find pictures of historical clothing?

My son has to dress as a character from a book for a school assignment. The character he chose is Gulliver (from Gulliver’s Travels). I am looking for either some pictures of the character Gulliver himself or pictures of traditional dress from that era (1720’s). I have a pretty good idea of what he could wear but could use some pictures just to be sure.

Does anyone know where I could find this information?
