Where to get bot software to repeat keystroke and mouse actions?

I’ve had a program like this in the past, but I can’t for the life of me figure out what it was called.

Anyway, anyone know of something that can do this?

You know, it records specific mouse movement and keystrokes, then repeats the process indefinitely, or until stopped.

It will definitely save me time with my plans of taking over the world.

Thanks

Macro programs.

I use QuicKeys. Formerly CE Software, a company called Startly Technologies bought 'em out.

Ah, that’s the term I was looking for…

QuicKeys appears to be Mac only…

Aware of anything noteworthy made for Windows? (I’ll search in the mean time)

EDIT:

Ok I see the link on the download page for windows… I’ll have a shot at it!

Thanks

QuicKeys not Mac only unless they dropped the Windows version recently or something…hang on a sec…
Lower Left Center Icon. (Under the big ad-sized icon for QuicKeys 4 for Mac).

EDIT: weird, your edit wasn’t showing just a moment ago! But it says Last edited 4:24 AM.

Two other options that I’ve used are AutoHotKey and Lsmacro. They have their pros and cons — Lsmacro is much more straightforward to program (but lacks a recorder), while an AutoHotKey script can be compiled into an executable that can be installed on a computer without AHK installed — but both might be worth a look.

Another more complex option is AuotIt

I like AsUType.

A program like that can get you banned from major MMORGS if ya get caught using it.

Just sayin…

It can? I don’t understand. How come?

It’s cheating. Essentially, a program like that can allow a player to benefit by being logged in to the game, but not actually at the keyboard, while his bot does certain repetitive tasks. Became a major issue in Everquest 2 right about the time I left that game.

Ah. Thank you.

FWIW AsUType is not a bot. It reacts to input though I have no idea if there is a way to get the software to respond to input other than from the keyboard i.e., from the clipboard on a Windows machine.

For general purpose macro-ing I use these guys. http://www.macroexpress.com/

Cheap, effective, and reliable.
