In a scene in Road to Perdition, Mike Sullivan drops his son off to a place that has a rows and rows of men and women reading newspapers while he (Sullivan) goes to see Tucci’s character.
What was this place? Was it some sort of antiquated periodical reading room?
I got the impression it was an employment office of some sort, it being the depression and all.
I don’t know why, but the impression I got was that it was a train station or bus station…
I thought it was a train/bus station, too. My hubby said it wasn’t, though, because there were no signs or such indicating so.
This should really be in Café Society…
