Swiddles, I think you’re adorable. However, I think you would be even more adorable as a folk chick. So, I must ask:
- Did you get the guitar yet?
- What kind is it?
- Have any of the sites suggested thus far been helpful?
If you are a true beginner, may I suggest that you go out and get some of the beginning Mel Bay guitar books from your closest music store? They will teach you proper technique, which is critical in the beginning. I have been playing for almost 15 years and I’m self-taught, so I have tons of bad habits that are really tough to correct after so many years. Learn the right way from the start and I’m sure you’ll make an awesome folk chick.
