Where'd the audio go?

I just installed a CD recorder on the Kunilou kids’ two computers. The one with Windows 98 works fine, but on the computer with Windows 95 (my oldest is afraid if she updates, everything will crash) the CD burner works fine, but suddenly the speakers don’t work. Any ideas?

Check the device manager in the System menu, accessible from the control panel. Are the CD Burner and the Sound Card in conflict?
