Where's harley Earl? When Is He Coming Back?

You may remember that GM-Buick resurrected the late Harly earl (GM stylist-designer of the 1930’s -1960’s), to “build you a great car”. He was featured in the Buick ads, along side such living personalities as Tiger Woods.
Is Harley comin back? Has he finished his job?
Were these ads featuring long-dead people sucessful?
Heck, I’d like to see Henry Ford make a re-appearance from beyond the grave!

As long as he keeps his anti-Semetic views to himself.

I’ve just heard new group of commercials for “signature edition” Chryslers that come with Walter P. Chrysler’s signature (duh!)

Considering Mr. Chrysler died 64 years ago, the endorsement really doesn’t do much for me.

When Earl realized the Rendezvous was really an Aztek w/o the overtly hideous body work, he killed himself.

Maybe John Diehl (the actor in those commercials) got a better paying gig.

It’s ironic that the real Harley Earl was the kind of designer who thought the key to making a good car was putting fancy gimmicks on it. Remember tailfins? That was Harley Earl at work.

Myself, I’m wondering where Jackie Earle Haley is.
